Downtown Whitehall - Vision

In 2006 the City of Whitehall through it's TIFA board, and with the help of the Michigan State Housing Development Authority commissioned Hyett Palma to perform a Blueprint for Downtown Whitehall. This inclusive consulting process allowed the community to tell its story and plan its future.

With this information, Hyett Palma laid out an implementation strategy to achieve the community vision. Please read the Downtown Whitehall Blueprint (PDF - 1.2 MB) to find out how downtown Whitehall is moving forward.

Currently, action steps to implement the improvements suggested by the blueprint are being undertaken by three implementation committees; the downtown Whitehall promotions committee, the downtown Whitehall design committee, and the downtown Whitehall business development committee,
